What are the difficulties people face when they hear teachings about Karma and Purification?
We need to think about these obstacles they have because we need to find a way to address them. These obstacles will cause the listener to develop objections which will look completely reasonable to the objector. The objector might not be aware what in their view caused the objection to arise in their mind. For them, the objection is completely clear and sensible.
If we can guesstimate what are the obstacles in their mind, we can pre-empt these objections and address them during our teaching. A moment before or just a moment after they might be having such and objection.
So people do not think in terms of their world is a creation of their mind.
